Agra, energy and construction - these are the core segments of BayWa AG. In this way, we meet the basic human needs for food, energy, mobility, warmth and housing. This requires responsible and far-sighted action for the company and its entire environment. For us, this means taking an unrestricted view, looking beyond the edge of one's own plate in order to make responsible decisions and act based on an awareness of the possible.

About Us
BayWa AG has a strong footprint in the agricultural sector, especially in Germany. We act here as a traditional trading company that does not block the future and looks for innovative solutions internally and externally to provide our customers, the farmers, with a sustainable range of products. At the same time, we are a global player in both the fresh produce and feed business and are constantly looking for new products and services to find answers to the major problems facing agriculture today.
To put this into figures, we were responsible for almost EUR 10 billion in sales in our Agriculture Division last fiscal year. For this purpose we have almost 100,000 farmers under management in Germany, we are one of the largest apple traders worldwide and we successfully trade commodity, technicals, and specialties goods.
Target Audiences
For us, every lead is relevant that offers an innovative solution in the form of a product or service in the areas we offer, is relevant. This can be an established company with an approved product or a start-up that is still looking for a partner for field testing and product development.
Opportunities We Bring to Successful Collaborations
We are aware that successful cooperation can only work if we work together on innovations in a protected space at eye level. For this purpose, we offer field trials, access to our distribution channels, and selected start-ups additional venture capital financing. Whereby we always consider an investment if we can fully exploit our strategic advantages in terms of testing, market access, and distribution for the start-up.
